01. BUICK
All-new Buick Excelle
Shanghai GM Buick’s new Excelle ushered in a heavyweight upgrade. This time, a total of four models were launched, with a price range of 96,900 to 118,900 yuan. The biggest change came from the upgrade of the engine transmission
Relying on the strong support of Shanghai General Motors’ comprehensive system competitiveness in R & D, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and service, as well as the Buick brand’s deep understanding of Chinese consumer needs, with a number of improvements and upgrades in Buick’s modern family-style exterior design, safety, and user-friendly configuration, as well as a new power drive system and a European-style control and adjustment chassis.
In terms of exterior styling, the new Excelsior adopts classic design elements of the Buick family, such as the iconic straight waterfall chrome grille, crystal diamond ice blue projection headlights with horizontal adjustment function, and smooth and clean body lines, etc., highlighting modernity and atmosphere. The cockpit follows Buick’s iconic integrated interior design concept, showing a warm and comfortable family car style and spacious space pattern.
The new Excelsior is equipped with the latest 1.5L small-displacement high-efficiency engine from Shanghai General Motors, which takes into account high performance, low fuel consumption, low emissions and low noise. It can output 83kW maximum power and 141N · m maximum torque, and meet Euro 5 emission standards. The engine cooperates with the leading Buick’s new generation of 6-speed automatic gearbox and 5-speed manual gearbox, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 7.6 liters/100km and 6.6 liters/100km respectively, becoming a new golden power combination for mainstream intermediate cars. The new Excelsior also introduces the leading VoiceLink voice-controlled infotainment system. It realizes voice-activated calling, voice route navigation, convenient information inquiry and other functions through voice commands, freeing the driver’s hands and eyes, ensuring driving safety, and showing humanized charm and personalized characteristics. The standard high fidelity audio system of all models and the user-friendly configuration such as the USB socket that supports MP3 players and U disks fully meet the modern usage habits of the new generation of consumer groups. In addition, the high-standard quiet technology of Buick’s patented Quiet-Tuning makes the new Excelle’s driving comfort experience a quality upgrade.
In addition, the new Excelle inherits the traditional advantages of the Buick brand in safety performance, from the high-standard BFI integrated body structure, high-strength seat skeleton, to the practical and thoughtful active safety system, to create a "strong and soft" all-round safety protection.
02. BYD
BYD New M6
The new M6 is equipped with panoramic images and electric sliding doors for the first time. At the same time, the new M6 has greatly changed from the appearance, interior and power. The price of BYD’s new M6 is 103,900~ 153,900 yuan
The new M6 has added more chrome-plated elements to the front face middle net design, and the V-shaped outline is more obvious. The new front grille and air inlet, coupled with the combination of aluminum-plated combination lights and chrome-plated fog lamp eyebrows, make the front face of the new M6 look more atmospheric and simple. The new M6 on the side has not changed much. The chrome-plated trim is added above the tail number plate, and the BYD family-style colorful luminous rear LOGO is added.
BYD’s new M6 is also equipped with 360 ° panoramic imaging, right front wheel blind spot visual system, reversing imaging system and six reversing radar and other safety features. Digital intelligent configurations such as car TV, CAN-BUS electronic intelligent housekeeper system, automatic thermostatic air conditioning in three temperature zones, and multi-function steering wheel with audio control are all available in the new M6. In addition, the new M6 also replaces the manual side sliding door on the current model with an electric sliding door. The body size of the new M6 is: 4820mm × 1810mm × 1765mm, and the wheelbase is 2960mm. The overall folding and reversable seat design in the rear row further increases the diversity of use space in the car.
In terms of power: the new M6 2.4-liter automatic and 2.0-liter manual will still be powered by Mitsubishi 4G69 and BYD BYD483QB engines respectively. But according to previous reports, these two engines will be recalibrated, but the specific parameters need to be announced by the official at a later date. The new M6 manual model is expected to be upgraded from a 5-speed transmission to a 6-speed transmission.
03. CADILLAC

The new SRX adheres to the classic "diamond cut" design style, adopts a new front air intake grille, and uses a finer and more delicate mesh vein on the basis of the continuation of the shield family characteristics. With the 3D three-dimensional family logo, front line LED turn signals and adaptive headlights, a new front face shape is formed. Coupled with the exquisite 20-inch aluminum alloy polished wheels, it not only maintains the classic family characteristics well, but also makes the overall shape more fierce and imposing.
The new SRX is equipped with two power versions of the 3.0-liter and 3.6-liter engines. Among them, the newly equipped 3.6-liter V6 all-aluminum intelligent direct injection engine has been awarded the "Ward’s Top Ten Engines in the World" award. It uses advanced technologies such as in-cylinder intelligent direct injection, DVVT electronic variable dual valve timing and the latest ECM engine management module, with a maximum power of 234 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 359 Nm. It only takes 7.4 seconds to accelerate 100 kilometers. The hand-in-hand automatic transmission matched with strong power can provide four driving modes of cruise, sport, manual and ECO fuel economy to meet the different driving needs of car owners.
The new SRX is equipped with two sports chassis settings, FE2 and FE3, providing a dual choice for consumers who are "comfortable and sporty" and eager for "track-level sports tuning". The FE3 is also equipped with an electronic real-time damping sensing suspension (RTD), which can process road condition information at 100 times per second, and adjust the damping of the shock absorbers accordingly to improve handling and comfort performance.
The new SRX is also equipped with the e-AWD intelligent all-wheel drive system. In addition to the traditional all-wheel drive, front drive and rear drive, the e-AWD intelligent all-wheel drive system can also provide a total of five drive modes of side drive and single drive to cope with multiple road conditions.

Ford’s newly developed sports steering system will bring new driving pleasure to ST drivers. The variable gear ratio steering system makes the new Focus ST corner steering more flexible, improving driver confidence and safety during high-speed cornering.
This uniquely designed steering system can reduce the steering sensitivity of the vehicle when driving on straight roads, but improve the steering sensitivity when cornering. In corners, the driver can easily fill the steering wheel without crossing the position of the hands, which allows the driver to handle the vehicle more calmly when driving through sharp corners. The new Focus ST steering torque compensation system is more aggressive and sensitive to ensure that the driver can still get good grip when accelerating at full speed on rough roads. The electronic stability system (ESP) on the new Focus ST has been further optimized to place greater emphasis on driving pleasure. Drivers can choose from three settings of the electronic stability system – standard mode, sport mode and ESC full off mode – depending on weather and road conditions or personal driving style.
To cope with cornering, the new Focus ST is equipped with an upgraded intelligent cornering torque distribution system. The system senses road changes at a rate of 100 times per second by braking the vehicle’s inner front wheels during cornering, continuously balancing torque transmission between the front wheels, reducing understeer, resulting in excellent grip and cornering control. The excellent handling performance of the new Focus ST is also due to the well-tuned sports suspension system combined with advanced driver assistance technology and Goodyear Eagle tires. After upgrading the vehicle’s shock absorber and spring system, the new Focus ST has achieved a 10mm lower chassis and a lower center of gravity. The new rear suspension system of the new Focus ST, including optimized cantilevers and newly designed anti-tilt bars, provides the driver with excellent road feedback and control, while also effectively improving the comfort of the ride and effectively blocking the noise from the outside of the car into the compartment.
