1. Cadillac LYRIQ concept car
From fuel vehicles to electrification, this major change requires traditional car companies to say goodbye to "oil to electricity" and come up with native proprietary pure electric vehicle platforms. Last year, General Motors’ BEV3 pure electric platform was officially unveiled. Now, the first model built by the BEV3 platform, the Cadillac LYRIQ concept car, will be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show.
In terms of appearance, the LYRIQ concept car is very sci-fi in shape. The front of the car has a luminous brand LOGO and radial light strips. The down-pressed side profile and the stretched roof line take into account the technological and artistic atmosphere. The concept car taillight design is more complex, adding a large number of horizontal and vertical line elements, presenting a strong visual tension.
The car is equipped with a full-size 33-inch ring screen display, which integrates the dashboard, infotainment, navigation, lighting control, air conditioning control and other functions. In addition, the car is also equipped with GM’s latest "Super Cruise" Super Cruise driver assistance system and dual-vision laser holographic reality augmented HUD head-up display function.
The LYRIQ concept car will use a universal Ultium battery pack with a range of approximately 483 kilometers, and will be available in two- and four-wheel drive versions to meet the needs of different users.
2. MG Cyberster concept car
The low body of the pure electric concept supercar MG Cyberster, the exaggerated mouth, and the oval headlights hidden inside the body create a concept of violent aesthetics with strong visual impact. And an "LED waist line" extends from the fender position, which is highly recognizable.
The interior of the MG Cyberster is equally sporty and sci-fi, with a steering wheel similar to a gamepad, a large-size LCD meter, and "e-sports seats", which look very combat-like.
At the Shanghai Auto Show, MG will open the crowdfunding of the MG Cyberster concept car, with the goal of 50 million yuan, and the mass production of the vehicle will start when it reaches the standard.
3. SAIC MAXUS MIFA EV concept car
This concept car is currently only available in manuscript drawings and renderings.
After completing the "commercial transfer", SAIC MAXUS started to develop the latest pure electric architecture – MIFA architecture, which can be compatible with a variety of new energy power systems including HEV, PHEV, EV, FCV, and covers SUV, MPV and other models.
The SAIC MAXUS MIFA EV concept car is based on the MIFA architecture, the design inspiration is derived from the space capsule, the overall shape is very avant-garde science fiction, and is expected to have a new intelligent cockpit and advanced human-machine interaction, intelligent driving assistance and other systems, the new car is expected to release mass production models within the year.
4. Buick Envision Plus
The Envision Plus was first launched in 2014 and has sold more than one million vehicles in the Chinese market. The Envision Plus is based on the general-purpose mid-size luxury SUV architecture. It has been newly designed from the outside to the inside, and has been upgraded in size. It provides 5-seat/7-seat seat layouts. The power part is equipped with a 2.0T engine + 48-volt light hybrid system. In terms of transmission, it is matched with a 9-speed manual transmission.
In the future, the new car will compete with Tiguan L, the new Highlander, and Edge.

5. Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR concept car
At last year’s CES show in the United States, Mercedes-Benz released its latest concept car, the VISION AVTR, which will also be officially unveiled at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show.
The new car design inspiration comes from Avatar, the biggest highlight is the use of bionic design, the overall visual effect is very sci-fi. The brand logo of the vehicle and the wheels have a luminous function, a completely transparent gull wing door design, and a scaly solar panel on the roof.
VISION AVTR can achieve autonomous driving, which also makes its interior very simple sci-fi, eliminating the traditional steering wheel, accelerator, brake and various buttons, etc. In addition to the seat, there is only a display screen and a light-emitting controller, and the occupants can control the functions in the vehicle through the controller. In terms of power, VISION ATVR is equipped with four independent motors with a maximum power of 350kW.
Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR concept car not only highlights the design concept of science and technology, but also demonstrates the harmony between man and nature through its bionic design, low-carbon and environmentally friendly materials, and non-polluting and degradable graphene-based organic chemical batteries.
6. Mercedes-Benz EQS
Mercedes-Benz EQS is the first model born in the pure electric architecture of Mercedes-Benz EVA, and it is also the flagship model in the EQ brand. It can be understood as the S-class in the EQ family. The new car adopts the new design language of the EQ family, which integrates AMG sports style, plus hidden door handles, through-type light strips, etc., to achieve both a sense of sports and technology.
The new car WLTP has a battery life of up to 770km, will achieve L3 level autonomous driving, and has AI artificial intelligence with learning ability and OTA of the whole vehicle.
The new car comes standard with a rear wheel steering system (4.5 °/10 ° after OTA) and a 108.7kWh lithium battery, and a 90kWh version will be available later. The EQS 580 4MATIC with dual motor four-wheel drive has a maximum power of 385kW, a peak torque of 828N · m, and a 100-kilometer acceleration of only 4.1 seconds.

Starway’s first concept SUV built with a new energy architecture, Yaoguang (English name: Stellar), will make its global public debut for the first time.
From the current preview of the exposure, Yao Guang will adopt a new design, with a through-type light strip on the upper part of the front face and a C-shaped light group on the lower sides.
8.SAIC Audi A7L
The domestic Audi A7L can be said to be a blockbuster model with high attention at this auto show, symbolizing that SAIC has since opened a new luxury car battlefield.
The Audi A7 has always been famous for its high appearance in the Audi brand due to its coupe body lines, but after the domestic lengthening, many people are concerned about whether the overall proportion will be out of balance and what level of quality can be achieved after the domestic production.
9. Audi Q4 e-tron
The Audi Q4 e-tron concept car is based on Volkswagen’s MEB pure electric platform, and the overall shape is full of "muscle". In terms of interior design, the Audi Q4 e-tron is expected to be equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, an embedded MMI touch screen, and an AR HUD real-life navigation for head-up display. In terms of battery life, the Audi Q4 e-tron is expected to offer two battery packs, the size is 82kWh and 55kWh, and it is available with single and double motors. The maximum range of WLTP is 520 kilometers.
10. Volkswagen ID.6
The "Big Brother" ID.6 of the two Volkswagen ID.4 models also arrived.
In terms of body size, the ID.6 is positioned as a medium and large pure electric SUV with a 3-row 7-seat layout. The body dimensions are: 4891/1848/1679 mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2965 mm.
Like the ID.4, the ID.6 will also be available in two different models, "North and South Volkswagen".

11. Lexus LF-Z Electrified Concept Electric
Lexus launched the new LF-Z Electrified concept electric vehicle at the beginning of the month, which uses a BEV-specific platform and is equipped with "DIRECT4" new four-wheel drive control technology, which can take advantage of the instant responsiveness of the electric motor’s driving force to freely control each wheel, thus achieving highly flexible driving performance.
The cockpit is based on the "Tazuna" concept, with AR head-up displays, gauges, touch displays, and other functions highly integrated. Driving-related functions are concentrated around the steering wheel. This layout will become the design direction of Lexus’ next-generation models.
12. Genesis X concept car
At the beginning of April, luxury car brand Genesis officially announced its launch in the Chinese market. The Genesis X concept car will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. It will be located in a medium and large coupe and use a pure electric powertrain. This is the fifth concept car of the Genesis brand after the NEW YORK, GV80, Essentia and Mint concept cars.
Genesis X continues the family-style design while also being more avant-garde, making maximum use of the unique double-line design elements. Such as the double-line LED light strips on both sides of the large air intake grille on the front face of the car and the double-line LED taillights on the tail.
The design of the interior is also very subversive. The center console of the vehicle extends from the instrument part and goes down around the driver. With the bucket seat, it presents a strong sense of embrace for the driver. Genesis’s products do not live up to the style of its luxury brand, and they perform well in the creation of quality, but as a new brand, they are currently not well-known in China.
13. New Land Rover Defender 90
The Defender 90 is a short-axle version of the new Land Rover Defender, featuring a personalized three-door double-row design. The new car is basically the same design language as the Defender 110, with a length, width and height of 4583/2105/1969 mm and a wheelbase of 2587 mm.
It is understood that the P400 model of the Defender 90 uses the 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine of the Avionics series and is equipped with a 48-volt light mixing system, with a maximum power of 394 horsepower, a peak torque of 550 Nm, and an 8-speed manual transmission. In addition, Land Rover’s all-terrain off-road mode will not be absent.

14. Lincoln’s new mid-size sedan
The internal code of the new car is CD764, which has been kept mysterious before the auto show. It is reported that this is a model specially designed for the Chinese market and is expected to be sold to the global market in the future.
From the poster, you can see the new car’s slender shape, elegant body lines and the rear of the slippery back design, making it look very harmonious and dynamic. It is reported that this new luxury mid-sized sedan will replace Lincoln MKZ after its launch and become Lincoln’s latest entry-level sedan.

15. BMW Vision M NEXT concept car
At this year’s Shanghai Auto Show, BMW introduced the innovative pure electric BMW iX and the Vision M NEXT concept car, the latter of which is the successor to the BMW i8.
A supercar concept car belonging to the BMW M series, the Vision M NEXT continues some of the design elements of the i8, and also uses more racing elements in terms of body color and aerodynamic package.
The car is also equipped with interactive communication and entertainment facilities, as well as a more racing-like driving system.
In the power part, M NEXT not only drives the rear wheels through a four-cylinder engine, but also has an electric motor on the front and rear axles, so that the vehicle can achieve rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive in a pure electric state. 16. BMW iX

In terms of power, the BMW iX is equipped with the new fifth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology, providing 90kWh and 120kWh lithium-ion batteries. The maximum range of WLTP may reach 600km, and all of them will provide dual-motor four-wheel drive.
17. SAIC Motor R concept car ES33
As the latest high-end intelligent brand under SAIC Motor, the SAIC R Automobile ES33 concept car is equipped with R-TECH high-energy intelligent body technology, positioning the flagship SUV.
The design of the ES33 concept car has a strong sense of futuristic technology, using a three-dimensional multi-line design, especially the two "deep" air intakes on the front hatch, combined with the back-style design, and the two-color suspended roof, which adds a supercar feeling to this car.
Based on R-TECH, R cars can more accurately predict the behavior and trajectory of pedestrians, vehicles and other obstacles. In terms of energy replenishment ecology, R cars provide a variety of energy replenishment solutions that can be recharged, exchanged, upgraded and intercharged. It is reported that its mass production version of the new car will be officially launched in the second half of 2022.
18. Extreme fox α coefficient S
This is the second car under the Jinfu brand and the brand’s first sedan product. The length, width and height of the new car are 4930/1940/1599 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2915 mm, which has reached the mid-size sedan level.
The biggest highlight of the product is its intelligence, the new car is equipped with α coefficient -OS vehicle intelligence system, which supports three-screen linkage, facial recognition, and 8-inch head-up display (HUD).
The most noteworthy thing is that the α coefficient S is the first product currently empowered by Huawei, equipped with Huawei HI autonomous driving solutions and intelligent hardware such as lidar, allowing the car to achieve autonomous driving capabilities in some scenarios.
19. Geely Xingyue L
Xingyue L can be said to be one of the most anticipated independent brand models in the first half of the year. The car is built based on the CMA architecture and is the third "Star" model after Xingyue and Xingrui.
The appearance of the new car adopts the latest 4.0 design language, with a length, width and height of 4770/1895/1689mm and a wheelbase of 2845mm. The interior is designed in a minimalist style, and it is also equipped with three large screens.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with Volvo Drive-E series 2.0T engine, with low and high power adjustments, with a maximum power of 218 horsepower and 238 horsepower respectively. It is reported that the new car will also be equipped with BorgWarner’s sixth-generation four-wheel drive system, bringing stronger handling performance and off-road performance.

The Honda SUV e concept was unveiled at last year’s Beijing Auto Show, but the products released at the Shanghai Auto Show this time are more production models. The closed front grille, slender LED headlights, luminous logo, butterfly doors and through-the-light strips all make the vehicle look very technological.
The oversized touchscreen of the center console inside the vehicle integrates various functions of the vehicle, and the physical buttons are basically invisible.

21. Porsche 911 Turbo
As the popular role-playing game "Cyberpunk 2077" in 2020, Porsche will be indispensable. The 911 Turbo in the game is based on the 1974 model, and the vehicle still retains the classic appearance, but adds a lidar, a set of sensors and some cyberpunk elements at the front, as well as a built-in electronic lens with a monitor to match the identity of the future 2077.
In reality, this 911 Turbo has been designed by Porsche 1:1, and like the previous Crystal 992, it can be driven normally. This 911 Turbo will be used for live shooting of commercials and participating in major game exhibitions.
22. GAC Toyota’s new Highlander
The new Highlander domestic version is finally coming. The biggest change compared to the current model is the use of TNGA architecture.
